Lynn Naden, Ellie Syth and Ann-Margret Wimmerstedt work on animal-themed costumes during a Wearable Arts workshop at Bunnell Street Arts Center on Oct. 4. They are preparing for Oct. 24’s “Animalia: A Wearable Arts Performance.” The event will feature a fashion show and performances displaying dozens of animal-themed pieces created by members of the community. Naden says Bunnell and the Fiber Arts Collective welcome anyone in the community to come and work on a costume during workshops each Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. The deadline to submit a final piece is Oct. 19.
