There will be a gathering to remember and honor Casey Wise from 4-7 p.m. Aug. 18, 2016, at the pavilion at the Slidehole Campground, Anchor Point.

From Homer, turn left at the Anchor River Inn onto the Old Sterling Highway. In one-third mile, take a right at the bridge and continue on Anchor Point Road 0.7 miles to the Slidehole Campground.

His family welcomes friends to come at any time during those hours to share your stories and memories of Casey. Bring a camp chair if you’d like a seat.

Casey D. Wise, 40, of Sycamore, Ill., died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, Ill. A full obituary was published in the April 21, 2016, Homer News.
