Gary “Gil” Louis Mayforth died Friday, Jan. 25, 2019.

A Cubs fan, he was born on Aug. 1, 1960. A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at the Quarter Deck at Land’s End Resort in Homer.

“Bring stories, bring love,” his family said.
