Kathleen D. Limbocker

March 15, 1947-March 26, 2022

Anchor Point resident Ms. Kathleen Dawn Limbocker, 75, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, of complications from cancer.

Services will be held at a later date with time and location to be announced. Her ashes were scattered off the Anchor River State Recreation Area where she moved about six years ago.

Kathy was born on March 15, 1947, in Elkhart, Indiana as the youngest of four children. She would go on to be a scholar, marry three times, and hold several different jobs, with the majority of her time at Boeing. Later on, in her 40s, she decided to go back to school and earned her master’s degree in business administration. She lived in many places during her life, including Minnesota, Washington, California, Puerto Rico, and finally in Alaska. She spent her last few years enjoying the peace and quiet of small-town life in Anchor Point. She had many friends with whom she spent time with at the senior center there doing activities and fellowship. Kathy enjoyed many things, including sewing, knitting, geology, reading, spending time outdoors, and taking care of her cat.

She will be very much missed by her family and friends. Her children are especially grateful for all the loving support and care she received from family and local friends in Alaska in her last weeks. A special thank you to Jamie, Jeff, Sean, Clark, and Tammy for everything you did.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie.

She is survived by a sister, Mary, and brother, George, as well as leaving behind four children, Irja, Kenny, Jackie, and Jason: four granddaughters, four grandsons, and her tabby cat Snickers.

Arrangements made by Homer Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
