Perez, 44, of Merida, Venezuela, biked into Homer last week after biking 1,600 miles from San Francisco, Calif. Perez did part of her trip on the Alaska ferry from Bellingham, Wash., to Haines. She started on June 21.  “Alaska is incredible.
