Homer artist Peter Lind has been awarded a research grant to study Alaska Native art work at the Bill Holm Center for the Study of Northwest Art, Seattle. The grant pays for travel and hotel expense and allows Lind to visit Seattle and the museum for five days and examine its collection. Lind said he will study the museum’s art so he can incorporate the traditional ways into his contemporary art work.
