Mariners on the Move announced

The third quarter Mariners on the Move have been announced.

Each Homer High faculty member selects one outstanding student per year based on scholarship and character. Honorees, their families and the nominating teachers attended a March 3 celebration. Third quarter winners were:

• Melanie Morris – nominated by Chad Felice

• Jasmine Lurus – nominated by Kendra Nelson

• Mylan Johnson – nominated by Matt Stineff

• Ainsley Boss-Harmon – nominated by Gia Baker

• Abbey Morgan – nominated by Mike Tozzo

• Heather Shea – nominated by Saundra Hudson

• Edward Gonzalez Anahonak – nominated by Winter Marshall-Allen
