It was a very exciting weekend of hockey at the Power Play Tournament in the Kenai and Soldotna ice rinks. Homer Squirt C, Pee Wee C, as well as Bantams all made it to the championship games. The Bantam and Squirt games each went into overtime, were still tied after overtime and winning was decided by a shoot-out. It was edge-of-your-seat competition. The Squirts pulled off the win, but Bantams were denied. The Pee Wee team beat the AHA Comets 3-1 for their title.
