One Lord Sunday

More than 800 people fill the Homer High School gymnasium for One Lord Sunday, which took place March 16. Dr. Gary Chapman was the guest speaker. He spoke on “Dealing Effectively with Our Failures,” from his book, “When Sorry Isn’t Enough.” Chapman, an internationally known relationship expert and author of the best-selling book “The Five Love Languages,” led a marriage seminar the previous day at the Mariner Theater. More than 350 people attended the conference. One Lord Sunday is an annual event which brings multiple congregations together for worship.
