Homer Flex School recently released its recipient of the Flex Phoenix Award for January — David Young.

Each month, the school staff pick a student to receive the Homer Flex Phoenix Award based on their embodiment of the school’s values: respect, ownership and productivity.

Junior Armond Allain is a student that displays an exceptional level of determination. He consistently works hard to revise work and turns things in to the best of his ability. Though some academic tasks may be difficult, his willpower and dedication to his schooling will always see him through. Armond takes great pride in what he does. He is engaged, thoughtful, and consistent. He is also a competitive and kind athlete who welcomes everyone during P.E. activities. Armond has been a great addition to the Flex community!
