Company issues recall on bear spray canisters

SABRE Security Equpiment Corporation has issued a recall on its Frontiersman bear spray product for expiration dates between February and June of 2024.

The recall is over a mechanical issue that may render the sprayer nonfunctional, according to SABRE’s website.

The company is asking those that have purchsed a canister matching that description to test fire their spray in a controlled, outdoors environment away from people and animals If the spray is determined to be non-effective, SABRE asks users to return the canister to the retailer of original purchase.
