Houston football shuts out Homer

The host Houston football team defeated Homer 42-0 on Friday night in Mid Alaska Conference play.

Houston moves to 2-0 in the league and 3-2 overall, while Homer drops to 0-1 in the league and 1-3 overall.

The game finishes a dominant three-week stretch for the Hawks defense against Kenai Peninsula competition. Houston faced Nikiski, Kenai and Homer the past three weeks, and did not give up a touchdown.
