Mariner football geared to face the Bears

With Homer High School about to return to being in-session, Mariner athletes are preparing for their first sporting showcases of the season.

After training for almost a month, the Homer Mariners Boys Football team will begin their gauntlet this Saturday, Aug. 13 by facing the Kodiak Bears. The game will take place at Homer High School at 3 p.m..

It will be the first opportunity to flourish in front of fans for Head Coach Justin Zank’s team.
