Homer volleyball defeats Seward

The Homer volleyball team improved to 2-1 in the Southcentral Conference and 2-2 in nontournament play with a victory over Seward on Saturday. The Seahawks fall to 1-2 in the league and 1-3 in nontournament play.

The scores were 25-18, 18-25, 25-17 and 25-19.

Izzy Dye led the Mariners with 15 kills, while Nevaeh Diaz had eight kills and five blocks, Gracie Miotke had six kills, Brooke Shafer had 30 assists and Channing Lowney had four aces.
