The Homer High School basketball teams on Saturday hosted the annual alumni game for varsity boys and girls teams. Visiting alumni, mostly from the 2000 graduating years, returned to the Mariner gym to play the current teams. Fifteen men and 16 women returned.

The men’s game held four close quarters. Alumni won with 60 points to Mariner varsity’s 49. Mariner women beat their alumni with a close game of 42 to 41.

The oldest returning Mariner men were Aaron Eisenhauer, who graduated in 2002, and 2001 graduate Cessiar O’Neil.
