The Mariners fell to 1-12 with the Friday nonconference loss to the Hawks in Wasilla.

Reace Brothers made 45 saves for Homer, while Cohen Boyd and River Henry had goals for Homer.

Daniel Matveev had four goals for Houston, while Andrey Efimov had two and Zasim Konev and Daniel Kuzmin each had one. Dylan Shaffer made 13 saves.
