Area volleyball players make state all-tourney team

The state all-tournament team was revealed Saturday at the conclusion of the Class 3A state tournament at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage.

Representing the Kenai Peninsula were Kenai Central’s Valerie Villegas, Emma Beck, Jorgi Phillips and Andie Galloway, Homer’s Zoe Adkins and Gracie Gummer, and Seward’s Anna Endres.

Also on the team were Valdez’s Ambrosia Woodgate, Momoe Togaage and Masen Holmes, Monroe Catholic’s Sophia Stepovich and Sitka’s Chloe Morrison.
