BEST SNOMADS FUN BET: Take in Snomads Family Fun Day, Saturday, March 11 on Caribou Lake. Registration for the Ice Fishing Tournament begins at 9:30 a.m., with fishing from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids 120 class snow machine safe riding event for ages 4 to 10 takes place 2-3 p.m. Look for the white tent in front of Crofts cabin to register and for the bonfire with free food and drinks.

BEST SUNDAY SHAKESPEARE BET: Enjoy Second Sunday Shakespeare presented by Kachemak Bay Campus, Friends of Homer Public Library and Pier One Theatre. These free monthly readings are open to everyone. BEST SUNDAY FUNDAYS BET: The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies hosts Wynnter Sunday Fundays at the Wynn Nature Center. Stop by every Sunday, 1-3 p.m. for games, hot dogs, science, s’mores, and more. BEST FISH & GAME MEETING BET: The Homer Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday, March 14, 6 p.m. at Kachemak Bay Research Reserve. Agenda items include Reviewing BOF proposals for Cook Inlet meeting cycle and other business brought before the committee. This meeting is open to the public.
