Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to five medical calls and one fire call.

Homer Volunteer Fire Department

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to eight medical calls and six fire calls.

Kachemak Emergency Services

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to one medical call.

Homer Police

The Homer Police Department switched systems for reporting police calls on April 1 and is currently working on a way to provide the Homer News with a police activity log.

Troopers

April 8

At 6:50 p.m., Alaska State Troopers stopped an ATV riding on East End Road near Glenn Drive. The rider was identified as a 47-year-old Homer man. An investigation showed that the man’s license was revoked and he was on conditions of release from separate criminal charges. The man was given a summons to appear in court and released.

Criminal Court

Robert E. Carroll Jr., 47, driving with license canceled, revoked or suspended for a criminal offense, and violating conditions of release.

Iris S. Strongheart, 20, domestic violence-related third-degree assault, and domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault.

Logan J. Lucas, 25, violating conditions of release, domestic violence-related.

Linda Z. Stumpff, 66, in three separate cases, all filed on April 12: in the first case, scheming to defraud and second-degree theft; in the second case, scheming to defraud, first-degree theft and falsifying business records; and in the third case, scheming to defraud and second-degree theft.

Vanessa E. Gordon, 42, third-degree assault, fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons and disorderly conduct.

Katherine K. Hargett, 29, coercion, indecent viewing of a picture and second-degree harassment, all domestic violence-related.
