Homer Police

Sept. 30

Homer Police got a report at 3:48 p.m. of two shoplifters at a local business. Police responded and arrested a 17-year-old Homer resident who was charged with theft.

Homer Police observed a 40-year-old Homer man who had an outstanding warrant at 7:31 p.m. An officer contacted the man and arrested him without incident for a $250 Dillingham Alaska State Troopers warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of violating a domestic violence protective order. The man was taken to the Homer Jail.

Oct. 3

Homer Police arrested a 35-year-old Homer man at 10:16 a.m. on an outstanding federal felony warrant for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was transported to and lodged at the Homer Jail.

Jasiah K. Carlson, 27, domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault, Homer.

Helena Posiadlo, 29, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to give immediate notice of an accident, Homer.

Michael A. Reid, 51, failure to stop at the direction of an officer, driving with license canceled, revoked or suspended for a criminal offense, and two counts of violating conditions of release for a felony, Ninilchik.

Chantal L. Loughlin, 54, resisting arrest, Anchor Point.
