Pet of the Week: Lexi

Pet of the Week

Lexi, an 8.5-year-old female, says, “I’ve heard sometimes the most scenic roads in life are the detours you didn’t mean to take. I guess this is my detour — my family can no longer keep me, so I’m looking for a new place to call home. My family said I’m friendly and affectionate, my greatest trait was showing love. I do love the humans… unfamiliar dogs and cats, not so much.”

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
