Pet of the Week

Nellie is a 5-year-old female.

Nellie is in a foster home right now and doing amazing with her temporary family. She loves all people, and has taken to the couch like a pro. She is smart, lovable and beyond ready for her new home.

There is so much more to her than meets the eye. She is house trained and wants to please her people — just look at those eyes!

She just needs someone to trusth her and take to her like the staff all have. It is easy once you meet her. She has to be the only critter in the household. This gal has a lot to offer!

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway.

The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday.
