Pet of the Week: Olive

Pet of the Week: Olive

Some redheads know how to chill. Meet Olive. She’s just over a year old, and she’s as cute as pie and as sweet as punch. She doesn’t like dogs much, but she likes other kitties. And, orange females aren’t so common, so she’ll bring you a little luck, along with hours of snuggles, and years of loyal companionship.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
