Pet of the Week: Perch

Need a cat that thinks she’s a bird? Meet Perch. She’ll balance on your shoulder while you go about your household duties. She’s sweet and healthy, but doesn’t like other cats. This cat is a real easy keeper, so please consider adopting her today.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
