Pets of the Week

Meet Gilda and Gus, who are both 3-4 months old. They have been in foster the past month socializing with a family. Gus, the all black polydactl male, is outgoing and very affectionate. Gilda, the female Tortie, is a bit more reserved but once the petting starts she melts right in to it. Gus enjoyed napping with the kids on the couch while Gilda’s curiosity kept leading her back to the Christmas tree.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
