Pets of the week: Mama Mona, Lakshmi, Georgia and Alistair

Mona was found living under someone’s house with her kittens, Lakshmi, Alistair, and Georgia. This family has made leaps and bounds since they’ve been with us, but it’s time they find their new homes. They’ve hit a plateau and need a change of scenery. They’re so sweet and gentle, but the kittens can still be a little timid. That being said, they actually enjoy being played with and loved on. Once you start petting them, the purring gets going and it’s hard to stop them. Are you ready to be a hero and give them a chance? Consider adopting and call us to meet them.

The animal shelter is located across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter’s business hours are noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 907-235-3141.
