State Trooper Report

Oct. 24

Alaska State Troopers at 11:53 p.m. went to a report of a disturbance on Knob Hill Road near Nikolaevsk. The caller said a man came to his home, appeared confrontational and intentionally displayed a pistol by moving his coat to show he was armed. The suspect was gone when troopers arrived. Troopers determined no assault had occurred. While responding to the complaint, a trooper hit black ice and rolled his car on the Sterling Highway. The trooper wore his seat belt and was not injured in the wreck.
