Robert P. James, Homer pioneer homesteader, died on his 89th birthday Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. “He passed to his rest,” his family said. A celebration of life is 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Homer Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 210 E. Pioneer Ave. A full obituary will follow.
