Register for 26.2-mile Kenai River Marathon

The Kenai River Marathon and half marathon, relay race and 5K family fun run are Sept. 28.

The full marathon begins at 9 a.m.; the half marathon at 10 a.m., and the 5K family run and walk begin at 10:15 a.m.

Registration is open until midnight Saturday for the full marathon. Register online at kenairivermarathon.org or stop at the Kenai Visitor and Cultural Center by Saturday.

A kick-off spaghetti feed will be held at the Kenai Visitor and Cultural Center at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The run is sponsored by the city of Kenai, the Kenai Chamber of Commerce and businesses and individuals committed to Kenai Parks and Recreation improvements.
