Results posted for The Gauntlet

The Gauntlet, the season-ending mountain bike event at Tsalteshi Trails, was held Saturday at the trail system just outside of Soldotna.

The format of the race had contestants navigating Tsalteshi for three hours, finding checkpoints and watching the clock.

There is still biking to be done at Tsalteshi this fall. The Chainwreck Cyclocross Series returns to Tsalteshi on Thursday and will run every Thursday through Oct. 14. The races consist of as many laps as possible in about 30 minutes of a 1.5- to 2-mile course. Registration begins Thursday at 5:45 p.m. at the Kalifornsky Beach trailhead.
