The Soldotna girls swept the freshman-sophomore and junior-senior team titles Friday at the Mountain City Class Challenge at Cheney Lake in Anchorage, while the Homer boys won the freshman-sophomore team title.
Behind individual champ Tania Boonstra, the Stars freshman and sophomore girls scored 22 points to win, while Seward was second with 54, Grace Christian was third with 61, Kenai Central was fourth with 113 and Dillingham was fifth with 135.
Seward senior Hailey Ingalls won the junior-senior girls race, but the Stars scored 35 points to take the team title, with Grace second at 42 and Kenai third at 49.
The Homer freshman-sophomore boys scored 24 to win, while Grace was second at 46, Mountain City Christian Academy was third at 84 and SoHi was fourth at 89.
Grace won the junior-senior boys team title at 39, with Kodiak at 44, SoHi at 70, Cordova at 95 and Kenai at 97.
The SoHi freshman-sophomore girls took the top three, with Boonstra winning the 3,200 meters at 12 minutes, 15 seconds, Sasha Brott second at 12:40 and Kathryn DeBardelaben third at 12:50.
Also for SoHi, Kathryn Cox was ninth at 13:30, Valarie McAnelly was 12th at 13:40, Shiloh Zichko was 13th at 13:48, Delanie Wagers was 16th at 13:53, Kylie Dickson was 18th at 13:58, Keira Larson was 20th at 14:02, Campbell Kincaid was 24th at 14:08, Laurel Johnson was 29th at 14:41, Nicole Danmyer was 36th at 15:07, Aislyn Downum was 47th at 15:30, Amanda Redman was 57th at 17:18, Caitlin Miller was 61st at 18:06 and Shayla Smith was 67th at 20:37.
For Seward, Selah Brueckner was seventh at 13:24, Juniper Ingalls was 11th at 13:38, Maddie Haas was 14th at 13:49, Indigo Leslie was 15th at 13:50, Lucy Bamford was 28th at 14:32, Maren Bickling was 33rd at 15:00, Kate Norvell was 43rd at 15:19, Amara Ransom was 52nd at 16:45 and Emily Anger was 54th at 16:51.
For Kenai, Ruby Davis was 17th at 13:54, Teresa Fallon was 26th at 14:11, Dianna Wright was 45th at 15:25, Lucia Carson was 50th at 16:01, Jocelyn Stillwell was 65th at 19:18 and Afton Roberts was 70th at 24:56.
For Homer, Claira Booz was 10th at 13:33 and Kiriakia Basargin was 40th at 15:13.
Ingalls won the junior-senior girls race at 12:45, while Soldotna’s Annie Burns was second at 13:07.
Also for the Stars, Kaytlin McAnelly was 11th at 14:04, Megan Whittom was 15th at 14:15, Ariana Cannava was 16th at 14:15, Anaulie Sedivy was 23rd at 15:23, Leanne Gordon was 24th at 15:26 and Adele Tacey was 25th at 15:37.
Also for the Seahawks, Katie Van Buskirk was fifth at 13:31 and Stella Dow was 13th at 14:11.
For Homer, Beatrix McDonough was fourth at 13:25, while Jaela Marchbanks was 10th at 13:55, McKenna Black was 31st at 16:48 and Ainsley Boss-Harmon was 34th at 20:04.
For Kenai, Emily Moss was eighth at 13:44, Emilee Wilson was ninth at 13:48, Mya Taylor was 21st at 15:04, Xinlan Tanner was 28th at 16:15, Fox Coyle was 29th at 16:20 and Khongorzul Gantulga was 35th at 20:15.
Ninilchik’s Adelyn McCorison was seventh at 13:35.
Mountain City’s Clint Kopp won the freshman-sophomore race at 10:54, but Homer took four of the next five slots. Reid Rauch was second at 10:56, Caleb Bunker was fourth at 11:02, Ethan Styvar was fifth at 11:03, Johannes Bynagle was sixth at 11:04 and Jai Badajos was seventh at 11:04. Also for Homer, Ellis Lorentz was 14th at 11:43, Lukas Renner was 17th at 11:56, Tait Ostrom was 18th at 11:58, Lucien Faucher was 51st at 13:14, Brennan Steen was 71st at 14:37, Luca Fitzpatrick was 76th at 15:52 and Maxwell Barker was 80th at 16:46.
For Seward, Ridge Conant was ninth at 11:24, Olin Liljemark was 22nd at 12:10, Alex Fink was 37th at 12:35 and Axel Larock was 77th at 15:59.
For SoHi, Tom Schwartz was 10th at 11:25, JJ Abel was 20th at 12:06, Braze Cassidy was 23rd at 12:11, Paxton Roach was 33rd at 12:30, Riley Wagers was 42nd at 12:50, William Klein was 43rd at 12:58, Johnathan Wardas was 52nd at 13:16, Aaron Fletcher was 57th at 13:30, Briggs Cheeseman was 60th at 13:49, Brody Linton was 62nd at 13:59, Tommy Engler-Foavae was 68th at 14:25 and Jax Nash was 69th at 14:32.

Grace’s Robbie Annett won the junior-senior boys race at 10:01, with Kenai’s Greg Fallon just behind at 10:06.
