Shiitake is amazing! She’s so sweet. She knows tons of tricks and is well mannered, too. She can get a little grumpy with small dogs, and we don’t know how she does with cats. She’s not possessive with her food or toys, so she’d be a great family companion. She’s 4-years old and spent her earlier life in the Mat-Su Animal Shelter. Please consider Shiitake today. She’s a real fun-guy! (Get it? Get it?) Share on, lovely friends!

The animal shelter is located across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter’s business hours are noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 907-235-3141.
