BEST SCAVENGER HUNT BET: Homer Animal Friends is hosting their annual scavenger hunt fundraiser through Aug. 31! Who doesn’t love a scavenger hunt — plus it helps HAF raise money to continue supporting their mission of providing spay/neuter programs, community education, and animal shelter support. Stop by the Homer Animal Friends Store every Saturday in August to get your entry ($25 each) for each week. Entries close at midnight the following Saturday so you have all week to stop by and get your entry to play. Join HAF for Yappy Hour from 4-6 p.m. at Grace Ridge Brewery every Sunday in August to see if you won one of the awesome prizes for getting it right! And to make it even more paw-some, there will be a grand prize drawing on Aug. 31 for all qualifying entries! Homer Animal Friends, 601 E. Pioneer Ave, St. 109. Grace Ridge Brewing, 870 Smoky Bay Way.
