The Homer Spit and Halibut Cove will be without power from 12-2 a.m. Nov. 16. The planned outage is necessary in order for Homer Electric Association crews to complete work on the installation of a new underground power line that will serve the Homer Spit and the south Kachemak Bay area. During the planned outage, HEA members in Seldovia, Port Graham and Nanwalek will be served by the Gerry Willard Generation Plant in Seldovia. HEA will be making automated calls to all members that will be affected by the planned outage. As always, please take steps to protect all sensitive electronic equipment in your home and business. For additional information, please call 1-800-478-8551.
