Pet of the Week: Sarah

Pet of the Week

Sarah is an 8-year-old female. She is the shelter’s longest resident. How can this be? Please, for the love of cats, someone come adopt this sassified spitfire. She has become the office cat and follows staff around like a dog, jumps in their laps and just wants to hang out. She’s a low maintenance, independent gal who may seem aloof when you first meet her, but then once she trusts you she is as loyal as they come.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway.

The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
