Pets of the week

Jack and Jill are 14-week-old kittens that are brother and sister. These sweet siblings are soaking in new experiences all the time. They were strays found outside with their mama. They are still shy but they are coming out of their shells more and more every day. Jill is braver than her brother, but she helps show him the way. With patience, time and love, you will have a wonderful pair of cats.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
