Homer Police

March 15

Homer Police at 7:39 a.m. contacted a 51-year-old Homer man who turned himself in on a warrant. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

March 16

Police at 9:43 a.m. took a report of a fraud.

Police at 9:07 p.m. went to a report of a stalking order violation. Police arrested a 59-year-old woman for violating a stalking order and took her to the Homer Jail.

Police at 11:16 p.m. arrested a 66-year-old Homer woman for violating conditions of release and took her to the Homer Jail.

March 17

Police at 8:10 p.m. contacted and arrested a 32-year-old Homer woman on two warrants and took her to the Homer Jail.

Police at 8:54 p.m. contacted a 30-year-old California man for violating a protective order and unlawful contact and took him to the Homer Jail.

March 18

Police at 12:10 a.m. went to a hotel for a report of an assault. Police arrested a 70-year-old Homer man for third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, false information, and two counts each of violating a protective order and violating conditions of release. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

March 19

Police at 5:16 a.m. contacted a person for illegal camping on Bishop’s Beach. They cited the person and required them to clean up the camp site.

Police at 4:32 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a driver who almost ran the caller off the road. Police searched for the suspect driver and vehicle and found them at 5:15 p.m. when the car hit a guardrail. Police arrested the drive, a 21-year-old Anchor Point man, for driving under the influence, driving with license revoked, reckless driving, fifth-degree criminal mischief and avoidance of an ignition interlock device. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

March 20

Police at 2:34 p.m. issued a summons to a 36-year-old Homer woman for driving in violation of instructional permit.
