Puck is a pistol, a nimble little sprite with a penchant for stealing yarn — and hearts. This 4-month-old, black-and-white tuxedo is a lover. Smart as the dickens, Puck will grow up to be a fine and handsome housecat. And boy, does he love his real fish treats. 

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the city’s Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 235-3141.
