HEA opens bids for real property

The Homer Electric Association has opened an opportunity for members of the public to bid on real property owned by the cooperative. According to the HEA website, the properties listed as available for bid are no longer being used by the cooperative for utility purposes.

All sealed bids must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on Aug. 11. Each bidder is required to complete a single Bidder Registration Form; however, for bids to be “complete and responsive,” per a July 8 press release, bidders must submit a completed Real Property Bid Form for each property they bid on.

If HEA does not receive any acceptable bids by the above deadline, they may choose to extend the submission period.
