Anchorage artist and author Barbara Lavallee visits the Art Shop Gallery from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Part of the gallery’s annual Alaskan Summer Artist Series, Lavallee shows her new print, “Tying the Quilt.” The gallery also has a selection of her books, her 2014 calendar and prints and originals. The Art Shop Gallery is at 202 W. Pioneer Ave.
