Silver is a 3-year-old male.

Why is this amazing, charismatic kitty still here? He’s so funny and loving. Staff have learned a lot about him since he arrived weeks ago. He likes to talk, he loves being brushed, and he hates dogs more than he loves casual Fridays. He loves other cats, though. And he loves kids, and basically all people. Come down this week and meet Silver.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
