Registration going on now for HCOA music, circus camps

Registration is going on now for music and circus camps sponsored by the Homer Council on the Arts. From June 17-21 and June 24-27, and in association with Bluegrass Camps for Kids and Andrew Vait, several bluegrass and rock camps are held at West Homer Elementary School. Camps offered include Bluegrass for ages 6-18, June 17-21; Rock/Pop for ages 12-18,  June 17-21; Rock/Pop, for ages advanced and adult, June 24-27.

From Aug. 12-16 in the gymnasium of Christian Community Church on Bartlett Avenue, Morgan Langham and Daniel Sloan of Roustabout Circus offer a Circus Arts Camp, with trapeze, silks, acrobatics, juggling and clowning of all kinds. Camps are offered for ages 9-14 and ages 10 and older. A Roustabout Circus performance is 7 p.m. Aug. 16.
