A caption for a photo in the July 7 Homer News incorrectly described how Joy Steward was named a Rotary International Paul Harris Foundation Fellow Award. Steward became a Paul Harris Fellow upon a unanimous vote of the Homer-Kachemak Bay Rotary Club Board of Directors in recognition of her many years of support for nonprofits and other organizations in the Homer area as executive director of the Homer Foundation. Also named Paul Harris Fellows were Flo Larson, Gayle Forrest, Bob Hartley, Ramona Pearce, Charlie Welles, and second time recipient, Sharon Minsch.

Marianne Schlegelmilch’s name was misspelled in an arts brief about her new book.
