Homer High School

Today – Parent teacher conferences from 8:30-11 a.m., noon to 3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. No school. Also, wrestling meet v. Grace Christian School at 6 p.m. in the gym.

Friday — Teacher in-service. No school

Saturday — SAT Test, 7:30 a.m.

Monday, Nov. 5 — Big Booster Club Meeting, 6 p.m. in the staff lounge

Tuesday, Nov. 6 — Site Council Meeting, 4 p.m. in the library

Wednesday, Nov. 7 – Ski Team Ski Waxing Fundraiser, at 5:30 p.m. in the Commons

Homer Flex

Today and Friday — Student-led parent teacher conferences. Please call the office with questions and to schedule a time.

Nov. 22-23 — Thanksgiving Break – no school

Homer Middle School

Today — Parent teacher conferences, no school

Friday — No school

Saturday — Boys A/B teams scrimmage from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Skyview Middle School. Also, girls A/B teams scrimmage from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Soldotna Prep.

Thursday, Nov. 8 — Homer v. Aurora Borealis Charter School at Aurora Borealis Charter School. Boys C plays at 3:30 p.m., girls A at 5 p.m., and boys B at 6:30 p.m.

Fireweed Academy

Thursday, Nov. 8 — Field trip to Seldovia aboard the M/V Tustumena

Tuesday, Nov. 12 — APC meeting at 4 p.m. at Little Fireweed, open to the public

Nov. 15 — Fruit orders and money are due

Nov. 16 — School-wide Fall Fundraiser, open to the public

Nov. 21 — Early Release Day, school ends at 1:15 p.m.

Nov. 22 and 23 — Thanksgiving Break for students

Dec. 21 — In-service, no school

Little Fireweed

Wednesday, Nov. 7 — Frescoes Steering Group meeting 2:15 p.m.

McNeil Canyon Elementary

Oct. 29 – Nov. 2 — Book Fair week. 11:50 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Thursday and Friday — Parent/teacher conferences from 8 a.m to 3:30 p.m.

Nov. 9 —Community Council will meet at 1:30 p.m. All parents are welcome to attend.
