A 240-pound halibut caught by Sam Mills has pushed the St. Maries, Idaho, fisherman to the top of the Homer Jackpot Halibut Derby. Mills caught his big fish on July 27 while fishing with Capt. Chris Andrews on the Nautilus 2 from Alaska Coastal Marine. Central Charters sold the ticket.
