KSC Kings gobble up the wins at Turkey Time Invitational

KSC Kings gobble up the wins at Turkey Time Invitational.

The Kachemak Swim Club (KSC) hosted its annual Turkey Time Invitational meet over the past weekend and 140 swimmers from 6 teams converged upon the Kate Kuhn’s Aquatic Center for the 2-day event.

The Kings notched 39 individual 1st place finishes and 3 relay team 1st place finishes.

The meet ended with a medley relay where members from other swim teams, including some coaches and lifeguards, mixed together for a fun exhibition relay.

The Kings compete next in Seward at the Candy Cane Invitational on December 10th.

KSC is a non-profit, year-round youth sports organization that practices in the Kate Kuhns Aquatic Center and competes around the peninsula, the state, and the region. Anyone age 6 or older who can swim the width of the pool in freestyle and backstroke is encouraged to tryout.

Visit the club’s website at www.kachemakswim.org for more information.
