Dinosaurs roamed the streets of downtown Homer, as did princesses, cowboys, minions and more, on Halloween last Friday. Pioneer Avenue trick-or-treating, organized by the Homer Chamber of Commerce, returned for another successful year, along with several other events that came through with a frighteningly good time.

Homer residents on Mountain View Drive and Bayview Avenue also reported a great turnout for their annual trick-or-treat loop, and costumes and music abounded at the Porcupine Theater’s inaugural Halloween Spectacle.

In Anchor Point, kids in costumes came out for two trunk-or-treats, held at the Anchor Point Community and Senior Center and the VFW Post 10221 on Milo Fritz Avenue. The fun continued later Friday evening with a Harvest party hosted by Great Land Worship Center that featured games, treats and a soup competition.
