Pier One Theatre was featured in last week’s Meet Your Neighbor where several events were noted occuring this week to commemorate founder Lance Petersen and a reunion party to celebrate 50 years as a community organization dedicated to the performing arts.

On Friday, July 14 at 6:00 p.m. please join Pier One Theatre and the Petersen family at the Theatre on the spit. Hear rembrances and excerpts of his work. Audience members will also have the opportunity to share memories with each other.

On Saturday, July 15, from 7-9 p.m. there is also a party scheduled at the Bear Creek Winery Garden where performers and theater crew of all kinds can join for memories. “Actors, singers, dancers, musicians, artists, set builders, prop makers, costumers, techies, volunteers of any sort, Kenai Peninsula Orchestra, Kenai Peninsula Chorus, audience members.
