Homer Hockey Association Inc. would like to express our sincere appreciation to the city of Homer Grants Program for a grant of $3,000 toward general operating support at the rink. These funds, administered by the Homer Foundation, have allowed HHA to complete a key project this summer.
HHA staff, volunteers and local contractors recently completed the conversion of the Kevin Bell Areana to natural gas use. This conversion will reduce ice rink operating costs and make skating and other ice activities more accessible to the entire community for years to come. We invited everyone to come out and enjoy the rink.
The ice is in — check www.kevinbellarena.org or call 235-8ice, -8423, for specific hours. See you at the rink.
