Joel “J.J.” Carroll

Joel “J.J.” Carroll, 72, died on Saturday morning, Jan. 14, 2017. He was a dedicated husband, father, friend and member of the Homer Community. He is survived by his wife, Diana E. Carroll, eight children, 37 grandkids and 17 great-grandkids. Visitation and viewing is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, with a celebration of life and gathering with the family to follow. All events will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 2821 East End Road. A full obituary will follow.
